             abnegate (v.) – to deny oneself; to refuse

for your edification:  Well lookie here.  It’s another ab word.  Let’s examine, shall we?  Abnegate:  it’s ab and negate.  I don’t know many people who don’t want to negate some poundage from their abs.  You know how to negate some fatty fatness  from the old abdominal region?  You need to deny yourself the cookies!  Refuse the pizza!  Put down the ice cream! Let go of the deep fried chocolate covered bull testes! Stop the insanity!  Abnegate!

examplification – Mitzi:  You know that dude Skinny Jim?  His name used to be Enormous Jim until he decided to abnegate the all you can eat enchilada bar twice a day so that he could negate the excess blubber from his substantially oversized abs. 

Muffy:  You go, Skinny Jim.  Refuse those fatty fried Mexican tortillas of meat-filled carnal desire.      

Mitzi:  God, I'm hungry.

Muffy:  I am so hungry.
